The Noteworthy Music-School For Strings provides a holistic approach to music education which encompasses music notation reading, rhythmic understanding, pitch recognition, and introduction to keyboard technique.
Utilizing various teaching approaches including- Essential Elements, Mark O'Connor, Suzuki Method and The Royal Conservatory of Music, Paul Huppert tailors his approach to the needs of each individual student.


The Royal Conservatory of Music (rcmusic.com) was established in 1886 and is based in Toronto Canada. This system of teaching incorporates a spectrum of music theory (reading) ear training, rhythm and introductory keyboard skills and blends these foundational experiences with the student's chosen instrument.
With a wide array of styles to explore, most any string student can achieve a satisfying musical experience.

Skype Lessons

For students unable to attend one of the three private studios in person, we also offer lessons via Skype. Provided you have a reasonably fast Internet connection, this can be a useful and time/cost effective way to receive instruction, where ever you may be.

Payment is usually processed via Credit Card or PayPal, and scheduling is extremely flexible.

 

Twin City String Collective

The purpose of the Twin City String Collective is to create opportunity and advancement of string playing techniques in both the Edwardsville IL and the Bloomington/Normal IL areas. Focus is on primarily the 10-15 age bracket, and utilizes repertoire and styles of playing that are varied and challenging to the player. The improvement of music reading ability, and special emphasis on proper playing skills helps to create a positive and stimulating music making experience.
